Wemberly is a little mouse who worries about everything. She worries that her doll Petal doesn't have a car seat, she worries that nobody will come to her birthday party, and she worries that too many kids will have the same costume in the Halloween parade. But most of all, Wemberly worries about starting school.

It's not until Wemberly meets a new friend on the first day of school—a classmate who worries as much as she does—that she is finally able to relax and have a good time. And when her teacher says, "Come back tomorrow," Wemberly is the first to say, "I will. Don't worry."

This comforting tale offers young listeners an engaging story and an opportunity to talk about their own anxieties.
