Summary
These are the things dragons love on their tacos.
Spicy green salsa. Spicy red salsa. Spicy chunky salsa. Spicy smooth salsa.
These are the things dragons do not love on their tacos.
Why? Because spicy food makes dragons' ears smoke. It makes them snort sparks. And worst of all, it gives them dragon-size tummy aches.
So when a little boy decides to have a taco party for his favorite dragons, he makes sure he has tons and tons of tacos. Big tacos, small tacos, beef tacos, chicken tacos—a whole boatload of tacos. And a whole boatload of Totally Mild Salsa too.
But while the dragons are dancing and talking and, of course, scarfing down tacos, the little boy finally gets around to reading the fine print on a jar of that salsa. Uh-oh—the Totally Mild Salsa has a totally dangerous secret ingredient!
The sparks—and much more—really fly in this delightful story starring a lovable cast of wonderfully imagined dragons. The funny, conversational text directly addresses the reader, which will get kids actively engaged in the story.

"The whole thing is over-the-top ridiculousness, and kids will most likely warm to it for that very reason." —Booklist
