Story-in-Verse Writing Contest

                  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, the student must write a short story in verse form. Entry must be no longer than one page, which means one side of a piece of paper. Verse does not need to rhyme but must be true to the accepted rules of its form. Stories must have a beginning, middle, and end. Entries may be handwritten or typed; there is no parameter dictating spacing, but legibility is a consideration. Every entry must include the following information: student name, age, and grade level; teacher name; and school name, address, and phone number, PLUS summer contact information for the student. Send all entries to: Story-in-Verse Contest, PO Box 714, New York, NY 10013-0714. All entries must be received by May 3, 2019. No other means of entry accepted.
