When an adventurous duck decides to ride a bike one day, all the other animals are skeptical. Sheep thinks Duck is going to hurt himself, the pigs think Duck is a showoff, and Cat would never waste her time on a bicycle.

But soon after Duck completes a loop of the barnyard, a pack of noisy kids ride their bikes up to the farm in a billowing cloud of dust. Suddenly there are enough bikes for everyone, and all the animals grab a set of wheels.

The dynamic illustrations seem to pop right off the page, and the final scene—in which Chicken rides a tricycle, the pigs hop on a tandem, and Goat munches on his bike's basket—is sure to "quack" kids up.

Loaded with laugh-out-loud humor, this book is a sure-fire story-time hit, especially among those just learning to ride their own bikes.
